I love that you're geeky enough to want to see this! So here's the chart for Daughter of Flood and Fury:
Hopefully you can read that! I can at least put it in a lot higher quality here than on the newsletter. This is what I wrote before I had the insight of how the minor characters all embody aspects of the main character, in planning book one. Thinking about the book as a whole, Aletheia’s main relationships are her team from the last three books—Isang, Estrija, Teiwo, and Ekifte—plus Gaxna, and her enemies are Nerimes, Miyara, and Hiana with a touch of Ieolat, her connections to these characters might read: Isang—Aletheia’s activism and emotional stability writ large (also a father figure, uncomfortable as that may be); Estrija—all the female aspects Aletheia has to learn to embody, fully-grown; Teiwo—the spiritual core Aletheia loses, then reconnects with more deeply, in the course of the series (in some ways a call back to her father, as mythic figure); and Ekifte—her raw fighting spirit, and the sense of humor she rarely releases. For enemies, Nerimes is the sinister version of Isang (and her father, for that matter): dedication to his cause makes him callous to the people in his life. Miyara is the female version of that (call her evil-Estrija), and Hiana and Ieolat likely fall in that camp, too.
